Learning to think liturgically about the lived experience of high school students is powerful for helping us cultivate an imagination for how the Gospel speaks to young people in their everyday lives. COVID-19 has created the greatest disruption to the cultural liturgy of “high school” in our lifetime. How can thinking liturgically about pandemic high school inspire us toward good and faithful youth ministry in this time?

Chris Neal, the director of the Youth Leadership Initiative within the Center for Vocational Ministry at Azusa Pacific University and contributor to “Fertile Ground: Faith and Work for Youth Pastors,” will be presenting on how the pandemic affects the formation of youth.

Youth pastors, ministry leaders, and church leaders with a heart for youth are invited to engage in this presentation and discussion.
