Great ideas for community ministry can often best be implemented by partnering with others - schools, other churches, community centers, area businesses (for example). Particularly in these times, putting resources and ideas together with a partner can help the church make a greater impact on the many issues facing our communities. In this session, participants will get ideas and strategies for making partnerships work. Areas addressed will include:
· How to identify the issue(s) your church will work on in the community
· The benefits of partnering and the many different ways of doing it
· Practical ways to identify possible partners and develop those relationships
· Strategies for engaging your congregation in the work
