Join us on January 17, 2022 from 8:00am to 4:00pm as the community comes together for the common good, so that the Buckroe Beach area and surrounding communities will flourish through the establishment of a center for development.
The Made To Flourish Hampton Roads city network, local churches, resource partners, and community volunteers will gather for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service - A Day On, Not A Day Off, to work on a community project at Buckroe Baptist Church in Hampton, VA. We will renovate several spaces for Workforce Development Training and utilization by non-profits to provide direct services to community residents. Work will include painting, spackling, light carpentry, moving furniture, and discarding items.
Coffee, donuts and a light lunch will be provided, or you may bring your own items to eat. Registration is required.
