Program overview
The residency program at Metro Life Church views pastoral formation as genuine ministry. Over the course of three immersive years, residents serve as integral members of the pastoral staff. During this time, they will learn how to integrate theology, shepherding, leadership, and decision-making, all while receiving close mentorship from the elders and deacons.
We want to see residents become effective whole-life pastors. This means that residents will assist individuals in everyday discipleship. We aim to do this by grounding these men in a healthy church culture, providing real responsibilities, and fostering relationally wise formation that endures beyond the residency.
