Writing for Made to Flourish

We are excited about your interest in contributing to the Made to Flourish mission. We strive to produce quality content that engages our readers with good storytelling, informative topics, and welcoming them into the conversation about faith, work, and economic wisdom integration.

We are always looking for new content that explores the intersection of faith, work, and economics within our churches and communities. As we explore these topics, we also want articles that present clear, applicable content for our everyday lives within our own homes, churches, and communities. We read for clarity, style, and grace in our pieces — articles that inform and encourage, inspire and challenge our ways of thinking.

If you’re interested in writing for us, please send us a query letter. We do not accept full articles for consideration. Instead, please send us a letter that contains the following information:

• Name and contact information
• Social media information (blogs, Twitter, etc.)
• A brief bio that gives us a sense of your experience as a writer
• Links to your published work (attachments are also acceptable)
• A list of topics you’re most interested in writing about in relation to the Made to Flourish vision and goals

What we accept

As we work together to produce quality content with you, we ask writers to use the Made to Flourish Style Guide and produce articles that encourage, instruct, and help pastors as they work for the flourishing of their communities. We look for contributors that can make our readers to feel welcomed, not talked to, but invited into a conversation.

Please send the above requested information to our associate editor, RuthAnne Irvin, at ruthannei@madetoflourish.org.
