Dr. Charlie Self will lead this 90 min interactive lunch and learn, giving principles and practices that when applied can empower the church to community transformation.
Dr. Charlie Self serves as director of learning communities at Made to Flourish. Self has been active serving NCU, recently as the Moen Chair for Pentecostal Preaching. An ordained Assemblies of God minister, he has served as an associate, interim, and senior pastor for congregations in California, Oregon, and Washington, D.C. Self is presently professor of Church History at he Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. Dr. Self is the author the recent work "Flourishing Churches and Communities: A Pentecostal Primer on Faith, Work and Economics for Spirit-Empowered Discipleship” and is a frequent contributor to many journals and websites. He and his wife Kathleen are celebrating 40 years of marriage in 2020 and have three adult children and three grandchildren.
