Neighborhoods in the Economy – Kansas City

In this panel discussion, Jarrett Meek, founder of Mission Adelante, and Jeanette Thomas from Hope International, talk about their roles in ministry and what it looks like day-to-day to work for the flourishing of refugees, immigrants, and the underprivileged throughout the world. Meek shared how he has watched people from other cultures and countries transform his neighborhood as they work to give back and create a welcoming area. He and Thomas both talked about the importance of church partnerships as they see gospel transformation in people from every kind of life situation, including rich or poor, the marginalized or elevated in society.
