Greg Ealey – Senior Pastor, Paseo Baptist Church

What if churches—in all of their (beautiful!) distinctives—acknowledged one another? (Really.) What if church leaders lifted their eyes to see a world beyond their own—a ministry campaign that wasn’t theirs, a congregant in crisis that attended elsewhere, a ministry colleague caught in media cross-fire… What if churches—especially churches with different contexts and geographies and people—what if they decided that some things were worth doing together? This is a workshop about how urban and suburban churches can, indeed, must come together. It will be a frank discussion about the reality of the divide, but also with some ideas about how those differences can be overcome … some examples of how successful bridges can be made.

Who Might Find This Helpful

This workshop is for pastors and ministry leaders who feel the need for their churches to get out of their comfort zones and desire to see the capital-C church at work in their city. This is also for pastors who may feel the need to reach beyond their culture, but need direction on how to do it.
