Many pastors don’t need reminding that churches are facing major financial changes. Church attendance is in decline, and church giving is in exponentially more decline. Church leaders have primarily responded to this by managing the decline as much as they can within traditional church infrastructure. Churches have decreased staff size and hours, and taken on campaigns to increase attendance and giving.
