Cleveland Leadership Prayer Breakfast (Cleveland)

It was 2005 when Gerard and Jeannie Long had a great marriage with three beautiful and healthy children. Jeannie was a stay at home mom and Gerard a Sr. VP at HSBC leading the $13 billion integration of Household Finance.

Then the unexpected happened with an emotional impact one can never imagine; their teen son committed suicide. Jeannie struggled with severe depression and lost her will to live. Their marriage was on the rocks. In 2014, their 32 year old daughter died in a tragic drowning accident.

Amongst their chaos, Gerard served for eight years as the CEO of Alpha USA. In 2015, he and Jeannie founded Awakening to God Ministries, “awakening hope” for people amid all types of discouragement.

It’s a story filled with disaster, emotion, and hope. Join us to hear Gerard and Jeannie Long share how they found hope and triumphed over great adversity.
