Event Navigation

It’s election season, and politics have seemingly never been more polarized. Demonization, ostracization, and an overall sense of confusion are everyday experiences for so many Christians and pastors and even targeted at other Christians and pastors. How can we go about these divisive political times without taking on the culture’s talking points? How should a Christian navigate these complex waters? How do pastors lead by example in these avenues and cultivate a culture in their church that allows them to weather the storm? What questions should Christians be asking in politics that doesn’t necessarily lead to a particular party, but provides a framework for civility, disagreement and even love? Join us as Dr. Vincent Bacote, author of The Political Disciple: A Theology of Public Life, guides in godly wisdom.
